What is clutch break in and what does it require? I am going to get a Clutchmasters Stage 3 clutch and it says it requires significant break in...what the hell does that mean?
When it comes to clutches I know nada!

Break in means drive it like normal, don't slip the shit out of it, drop it, etc. Take it easy before you dump it basically. The stage 3 break in is supposed to be like 1k miles. Usually the regular disks are like 500, and those kevlars are like 1k.

According to Centerforce Clutches, break-in periods are:
500K street driving
1000K freeway driving
hope that helps. thanks.
